Tinted Float Glass
4mm to 8mm tinted float glass is manufactured by the same method as ordinary float glass, the only difference is that colorants are added to the raw materials to give glass the desired colour. The parameters of tinted glass (e.g. visible light transmittance or the so-called tint darkness) depend considerably on the thickness of glass. Therefore only tinted glass of the same thickness must be used to get an even facade surface.
